AFC East rival Jets up next
The Buffalo Bills had closed to within three points before halftime on a 1-yard score/run by LeSean McCoy bringing the game to 10-7. That was the last time the Bills would score as both the Baltimore Ravens and Bills defense stiffened up in the second half.
The Ravens managed to score a fourth quarter field goal to make the score what would be the final, 13-7.
“It’s a pretty darn good defense over there,” Bills coach Rex Ryan
said. “I’m probably one of the only coaches that’ll give credit to the opponent because they deserve it. That defense played extremely well. They’re well coached and they got after us.”
The Bills have little time nor inclination to dwell on this loss. Playing in Baltimore is tough. Playing on opening day in Baltimore is nearly impossible. So let this game pass because Thursday is upon us and the New York Jets are a series team who are also looking for positive energy after also beginning with an 0-1 record.
