The Buffalo Bills nearly took out the New England Patriots but for another poised comeback from veteran QB Tom Brady. This week, the Bills will face another 0-1 team in the Carolina Panthers who were barely beaten by the Seahawks 12-7.
A new wrinkle this weekend will be at the running back situation. While C.J. Spiller is the undeniable starter, veteran RB Fred Jackson had such a good game (67 yards on 13 carries & four catches for 40 yards) that Spiller’s time may be cut into.
“I can’t control what they decide to do with carries,” Jackson said Monday, per The Buffalo News. “But I’ll be ready, whatever my role is. I’ve always felt I can contribute, and when I get the opportunity … I’ll be ready.”
Ready or not, the Bills will face the Panthers this Sunday at 1 p.m. Tickets are still available.
